Cranberry mustard (and three to try)
We may associate cranberries with American Thanksgiving, but cranberry is great anytime of year— especially in the form of cranberry mustards. Tart and often sweet (though generally not as sweet as one might expect), cranberry mustards can be a great unexpected addition to charcuterie boards, as well as in glazes and sauces, and as spreads.
My Kitchen Addiction, Bon Appetit, and even Ball Jars and cranberriers Ocean Spray offer recipes for making the condiment, but several low- to mid-priced prepared options are on the market.
Inglehoffer Cranberry Honey Mustard - Autumnal, sweet and tart.
Beaver Cranberry Mustard- Fruity, but not too sweet.
Dietz & Watson Deli Complements Cranberry Honey Mustard - Tangy, with good balance between the cranberry and mustard flavors.
Bonus pick: Plochman’s Limited Edition Cranberry Mustard because it’s really well blended and smooth, and we like a good limited edition thing.
